For the first time in the club’s history, all six OBGFC teams secured victory on the same weekend. Congratulations to all players, coaches and volunteers!

Seniors

Got the job done over a gallant Old Melburnians side who led the Tonners up to half time. Hutchy’s side kicked 10 goals to 4 in the second half to secure the win.

Women’s

After going down in the away fixture, it was a different story at Brighton Beach Oval as the Tonner Women comfortably accounted for Whitefriars.

Under 19’s

With the club delicately poised at 5/5 overnight, the U19’s made no mistake in their Sunday game, securing a history-making win for the red and blue. Seb Harris-Knipe kicked five goals on a day to remember.

Thirds

With Coach Farrell returning from his winery tour, and fielding their strongest side for the year, the Thirds ground out a hard-fought victory over Trinity. Hugh Hamilton made his long-awaited return, while BGS Year 12 boys Lachie Brooks & Angus Edgar were a class above.

Fourths

With skipper Charlie Kenny back to lead the troops, the Fourths produced an inspirational win over Ivanhoe to keep their finals hopes alive. Hudson Rowell was best on ground, kicking the game-winning goal in the dying seconds.
