The Thirds had a disappointing loss to De La Salle in Brandon Harris’ 100th game for the club. Jack Rutter made his annual cameo appearance for the occasion and slotted three goals. Thanks to Peter Chantzos and Harry Osborne who filled in as coaches, Paul Ryan who goal umpired, and Campbell Tweedie who umpired the game.
The Fourths, without their captain and spiritual leader, Charlie Kenny, had a difficult evening against Hampton Rovers under lights, going down by 70 points. Big thank you to Brian Randall, Sandy Faulds, Josh Snowsill, Will Hughes, Andrew Tzimas, Xavier Pym & Harry Osborne, who all volunteered as umpires, coaches, runner & team managers, respectively.
Without these volunteers who step up to fill roles, our Thirds and Fourths would simply not be able to exist. If you are able to lend a hand on gameday please get in touch! We have a variety of roles to fill each week and the support is greatly appreciated.
