With so many injuries to the seniors, having so many U19 players putting their hand up to double up or play reserves then to see majority of the playing group down supporting the seniors in the afternoon is a big tick to the club culture we have. So well done to the club and the senior playing group as it is all down to what you’ve created.

With school coaching meaning players were late or leaving the game early and with 4 boys playing reserves so put them on ice early to make sure we didn’t get any injuries we played close to a half of football with 17 after we had a player sent off thanks to some dubious umpiring. We were undisciplined early giving away 3 50mtr penalties and weren’t respecting the opposition. We had players rocking up 30 minutes after agreed arrival time and not finishing the set up. It showed in the first half.

After a half time chat Noske continued to dominate around the ground in a new role as Ruck and Finn led from the front playing an unbelievable game. Once Oulton started to find the footy across half back and using his kicking ability and Munnings being influential, we started to click in the second half and if it wasn’t for some poor kicking would’ve won by a lot more than the 54 points.

Kenny again put together a good game on the wing that he has made his own. 4 more weeks to go and now guaranteed finals but with some tougher opposition coming up and we start to get everyone back this week. Onwards and upwards towards finals.
