After a disappointing loss last week, the Women’s team was very keen to get on the winners list against Williamstown CYMS at our home ground on Saturday. Unfortunately, things didn’t go entirely to plan early on in the game and our opposition got off to a very strong start outplaying us in the first quarter. The girls rallied in the second quarter and although we only lead by 8 points at half time, our system and teamwork showed good signs of returning to our best form of 2018. We took control of the game in the second half and ran away comfortable 26-point winners. A pleasing sign of the win was the game time for, and opportunity to play new players who had previously not played football in previous seasons.

Next game we travel to Ivanhoe for an early must win clash.
