Round 9 U19s Match Report

OLD BRIGHTON:    15.8-98

HAMPTON:  8.4-52

Back at home and we continued our win streak. Made a few changes and tried a few players in some different positions which paid dividends early and we kicked away to a 5 goal lead at quarter time.

The next two quarters we dropped off, went away from playing team oriented football and got selfish. This allowed Hampton back into the game and gave them a sniff of a comeback coming into the last.

I put it back on the playing group for some more effort and to work harder, we had no inside 50 tackles or 1 percenters for the middle two quarters.

We finished the game with another 5 goal quarter and ended up winning by 40 odd points. The move or Katsaras forward paid off as he kicked 5 and set up a few too. The midfield did what they had to do and the backs held up really well. A decent win, we go a game clear in second and have a big few weeks ahead before the airport virus hits the club.
