Round 9 Reserves Match Report

OLD BRIGHTON:    3.6.24

COLLEGIANS:  18.14.122

The Roscoes were taken to the cleaners by a far more skilled Crumbles outfit, who worked harder and used their superior skills to amass a huge victory, scoring heavily after the first quarter.  The Roscoe midfielders simply couldn’t run with their opponents who were never under pressure and walked through our ranks too easily, too often.

Nonetheless, the Roscoes had some fine players in Jack Cowling, who ran hard all over the ground and Nick Coroneos who kicked two good goals and won possessions on the ball.  Matt Freeman continued his fine season in defence and will soon get his chance at senior level.  Michael Dewar survived his hand injury from last week and worked into form, while George Yeoman contested hard up forward.

Goals: Coroneos 2, Cowling

Best: Cowling, freeman, Dewar, Coroneos, Yeoman, Ho
